What is Psychosocial Counseling?
Psychosocial counseling is a structured therapeutic process designed to assist individuals in understanding and effectively managing psychological, emotional, and social difficulties. It emphasizes the promotion of mental well-being, the development of adaptive coping mechanisms, and the enhancement of overall personal resilience, particularly in the context of stress, trauma, and significant life transitions.
Why Psychosocial Counseling?
In today’s world, people face numerous stressors like emotional and social pressures, economic hardship, and many more. It happens mostly due to conflict or everyday stress, because of which mental health support is vital. Psychosocial counseling helps:

How long have we been providing this?
We have been providing six months of counseling training since 2018, with a commitment to enhancing mental health support capacity across Nepal. Over the years, our programs have empowered hundreds of participants with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation needed to serve individuals and communities in need of psychosocial support.
